Upcoming Reviews (March 2010)

Postby Axikal » Mon Feb 22, 2010 2:10 am

Hey PGz, Ax here. February has been pretty empty in terms of reviews. Most of us on the staff have been busy with school, work, or a combination of the two, and getting stuff out hasn\'t been easy. Unfortunately, my own life has become more erratic with the inclusion of a second job at my local Game Crazy. So I\'ve opted to take February off to recoup, and get myself situated.

However, come March, we should be getting back into the swing of things. Here\'s what we\'re starting off with:

Axikal
Heavy Rain (PS3 Exclusive) -- March 4
Balloon in a Wasteland (Web/Freeware) -- March 6
Bunny Invasion II (Web/Freeware) -- March 7
Dead Space: Extraction (Wii Exclusive) -- March 10
Dante\'s Inferno (PS3 [PSP, Xbox 360]) -- March 13

Musashi1596
Battle Royale (Film) -- 8th March
Bioshock 2 (PS3 [PC, Xbox 360]) -- 15th March
Final Fantasy VIII (Playstation Classic [PS1]) -- 22nd March
Dragon Age Origins + individual DLC review (PS3 [Xbox 360]) -- 31st March
if the newest DLC is released on time

JunkyJunker
Uncharted 2 (PS3 Exclusive)

------------------------
If you\'ve noticed two web games on my list, those are a part of a new series of reviews we\'ll be working on: Flash game reviews. We\'ll be browsing sites like Kongregate, Newgrounds, Armour Games, JayIsGames, etc. for the best in time wasting fun, then we\'ll tell you which ones are awesome, and which ones are flat out crap.

We\'re also looking for more news team members, and some more reviewers. Currently, there is one news reporter, and three reviewers. We\'re in DESPERATE need of someone who is a X360 user, as none of us currently play on 360s. Also, we really need people who can post at least 3-5 news articles a day, or 10 articles a week. We\'re looking for a diverse news archive, and even more diverse game review library. Come on guys! PGz needs your support!

And as always, be sure to double check the Official PGz Submission TOS before submitting anything for publication.

Let\'s make 2010 the year of PGz!

I love the inclusion of PC flash games. No doubt many of us pass the hours away at work playing them so good call Ax.

I wonder if Janelle would be up for reviewing some 360 games?

G, I sent her a message via Facebook but have not received a reply.

OK, this month I hope to be able to work to the following deadlines;

Battle Royale (Film); 8th March; [url:1d3b8img]http://www.prestigegamerz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=171:battle-royale&catid=38:movie-reviews&Itemid=40[/url]
Bioshock 2 (Multiplatform); 15th March
Final Fantasy VIII (PSN download- Playstation Classic) 22nd March
Dragon Age Origins +individual DLC review (Multiplatform) ; 31st March, if the newest DLC is released on time.

None of them should be late but hopefully I can get some out early. I may also find time to write more, which will subsequently be added to the list.

I\'m glad to see you want to help contribute to the site. Bear in mind that all user submitted reviews need to follow the Official PGz Submission TOS to be considered for "official review" status on the site. We do have a User Submitted Reviews section, as well.

Post your reviews up in the proper sub-forum for the games, and link them back on this thread. Mark will go over them, and make the final call. :)
