COD WWII - Will it bring anyone back into the fold?

As the title suggests. Just wondered after years and years of getting more Sci-Fi than boots on the ground the developers have listened to the fans and have gone back to basics.

But is it enough? Or has that ship sailed?

I'm keeping my eye on it, might get it at least for the campaign.

MP though is a different story. I'm glad it's not sci fi shooting shit, but I prefer modern/current shooters with COD. Plus, Destiny has been a better time consuming game than COD was over the years.

I doubt it, to be honest. I don't really have any faith in the series anymore, but I approve of the setting.

Keeping an eye on it as well but if they even mention anything about having supply drops in the game, forget it.
I wouldn't be surprised though cause they put that shit in COD 4 Remastered.
Can you imagine just how out of place it would be seeing people dressed like a gingerbread man running around with pink M1 Garands and dabbing?

I am around 85% certain they will have supply drops in one way or another

I will probably buy it along with all the DLC and then just never get around to playing it like the last 4 or 5 installments LOL

I do like the WWII eara tho and for all of its faults I had more fun Playing W@W online than pretty much any other game.
I think that was due to the amount of people that I played it with on a regular basis which gave a great sense of community which then basically spawned the birth of this forum so a lot of good came from the game for me.
Hard to imagine another game being able to recreate that and for me the game play in COD was always better in the simpler format that MW and W@W had before they started to over complicate it.

I can't see any COD ever being able to recreate that again tho.
