VGM Remixed

VGM Remixed

Postby Musashi1596 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 5:03 pm

I've avoided posting remixes in the standard VGM thread but there's a lot of awfully good material out there. So logic entails it's time for another spinoff.

To start;

For every Dubstep mix you post I'll have something decent to throw back.

I'm going to go with The Chaos Engine again because it happened to be next in line on my YouTube favourites.

You're specifically trying to hurt me, aren't you?

This one is amongst one of my favourite songs, never mind my favourite remixes

Got to love some OCRemix. 'The Answer' is one of my favourite albums.

But now, a track from the Streets of Rage Remix OST. Interestingly, each time the game got updated (or most times at least) it got new mixes of the tracks. I can find at least two other versions of this mix, but I prefer this one.

Hey, Chaos Engine! What a game, used to love playing that on the Atari ST, I remember getting to the final boss, don't recall if I actually defeated it though, heh. Some good tunes there. Liking the Final Fantasy VIII one as well.

I'm just going to post what is probably my absolute favourite remix. If you ever played Monkey Island, you will most likely love this, it's based on Lechuck's theme, it's seriously great stuff.

Funnily enough I never actually owned a copy, though I plan to start playing it on an emulator soon. In fact, I barely remember playing it; for years, I had just the vaguest memories of playing it with my cousin when I was young and didn't even know its name, but certain aspects of it stuck with me. It's a game with a pretty distinct style, glad I managed to find its name.
