Dragon Fin Soup, an RPG Rougelike where the female protagonist is apparently cheerful but also a raging alcoholic.
Looks pretty good, certainly worth looking at if you like you're keen on old school RPGs, but there's less than 48 hours left to get in there and back it. Good news is it's already confirmed as being cross buy for PS4, PS Vita and PS3.

Here's a 20 minute gameplay video:

Hmm... On one hand, it looks pretty interesting. But on the other, why does practically every dungeon crawler have to be a Roguelike? I'm just not that keen on them, and I imagine that even those who are would like some variety.

Ordinarily I wouldn't back it. However, while it's being ported to PS consoles, which are distinctly lacking in any sort of dungeon crawler, I will support it.

Mech Runner, a game where your mech can turn into a tank. This game will release on PS4 and Vita regardless of whether the kickstarter is met, but they would like the extra money to add polish to the game. Considering the footage and the fact you can buy a copy for $10, it looks like it's a small release and not as impressive as an Armored Core game. But it is the first mech game to be announced for the PS4.. and the Vita as well I think.

Heart Forth, Alicia - A Metroidvania RPG. It's about a young wizard on her journey to stop a Spirit from consuming her homeland. Inspired by games such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Zelda and Xenogears. It's doing very well so far and is only about two days in, at this rate it should easily be confirmed for PS4.

"Bob, there's loads of Kickstarters on the market at the moment. How can we set ourselves apart from the rest?"
"Uh... How about retro pixel art?"
"You're a fucking genius."

For any one who's into large, open world RPGs.

I present, Identity.

I have backed it, since I have always enjoyed the Arma II life mods, like Takistan Life. (I still play it every now and then)

I discovered it from Rhinocrunch... who mostly does Arma videos.

I've been wanting to play the new Arma III mod, Arma III Life, but Arma III is going for the full $60 right now.

Shadow Run looks pretty awesome. Might have to try that at some point.

If you love Wipeout, the Wipeout team are making the next one if they are successful on kickstarter.
It's called Formula Fusion though because Sony own the Wipeout name.
