This looks interesting, not sure I'll back it though.

Also, they blatantly took the look of the Knight from Dark Souls

Looks interesting, will definitely consider backing if they can guarantee a PS4 release. Might happen, they often shift priorities after the initial submission when they get some fan feedback on preferred platforms.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

This sounds pretty amazing and it looks like it should be coming to next gen consoles.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12 ... e?ref=card

First person medieval game with some really well thought through combat mechanics.

'Creating intriguing, enjoyable, first-person melee combat systems has been a real challenge for developers. It's hard to mix easy, intuitive controls with a first-person view and sufficient variety of moves. Many have tried and failed.

Our combat mechanics are the most challenging feature of our game. They’re based on actual 15th century techniques and designed in cooperation with medieval martial arts experts to be as authentic as possible. The controls are as intuitive as in first-person shooters and, thanks to a few tricks, we have a large amount of different moves and combos. On top of that, the whole thing is based on real-time physics and inverse kinematics, so when you hit something, your hands and weapon, not just your target, react accordingly, which is something that was not possible on last-gen hardware.'

This sounds like it could be something really special, looking forward to seeing this released.

Argh, goddamnit

There, I backed another one.

I was sold with 'medieval' but then I got to 'actual 15th century techniques' and that was it, no going back

Haha, thought you'd appreciate that, also noticed it has specific options for either digital or disc copies which is pretty cool. It's not clear on whether you can choose to grab a console version though, so as usual I'll probably be waiting for release to buy. Exciting stuff anyway.

Aye, fair enough. I do hope you can get a console version as a reward, as I've gone in at a physical tier. Fortunately, having sailed past their initial goal they won't be in need of the donation so waiting for release sounds like a decent idea.

Right, they have just confirmed that it will be coming to consoles and once released you can choose the console version if you so wish. They have only 100% confirmed digital versions at this stage though for consoles, so if you choose the physical version they said there is a possibility of them sending you the box and giving you a digital code. Guess we'll have to see what happens.

Lordy, after looking at one of the newest updates... I wish I had a good job so I could pledge £600.
You actually get a hand forged sword for that tier. I mean, holy shit

Dragon Fin Soup, an RPG Rougelike where the female protagonist is apparently cheerful but also a raging alcoholic.
Looks pretty good, certainly worth looking at if you like you're keen on old school RPGs, but there's less than 48 hours left to get in there and back it. Good news is it's already confirmed as being cross buy for PS4, PS Vita and PS3.

Here's a 20 minute gameplay video:
